The heart of any home is the kitchen, a congregation space that brings people together. When we were designing this space, we felt the need to keep it open and spacious as the footprint wasn’t added onto. Cream cabinets with slight grey veining, as well as a vertical texture brings the eye up and down to give the illusion of taller ceiling. The counters tops play with the cream tones of the cabinets. The cook top are separate from the double ovens as to not encroach in the space. Plus there is room for a breakfast bar, eat-in space as well. This is a multi-use kitchen without feeling crammed in.

We utilized every nook and cranny of this footprint by utilizing spaces that normally are left untouched. Our clients wanted to be able to store seasonal items and other china that would take up space in the functional kitchen area. By utilizing we built an area that is functional yet has an architecturally aesthetic value with the expansive picture window. Minimal styling helps this space feel part of the kitchen without closing it off or cramping the area.

The living room is the epitome of indoor-outdoor living, with panes of floor to ceiling glass windows to filter light and the environment outside in. The furniture and area rug plays off the warm taupe tones of the Italian porcelain floor. The cream sheer curtains employed to allow some light transfer when you want to close off the world around you.

The muted tones found in the great room play with the desert tones. It doesn’t close off the space as all the tones found in the tile used for the fire as well as the flooring meld perfectly with the warm cozy interior. Pops of color with accent pillows allow for some moments of excitement from the relaxation, but do not hinder the overall design aesthetics of the space.

Our client wanted a custom designed work area that was functional, yet a decorative piece of the master bedroom. We designed an expansive desk made with dark brown cabinets to contrast with the muted colors of the walls. The space accommodates two people comfortably, and includes a display unit with a storage compartment and shelving to place books or your favorite items or pictures to remind you that you are home.

The master bath creates a beautiful space that evokes the sandy trails of the desert through warm cream colored tiles with slight texture. The jewel of this shower is a recessed shower head that evokes a waterfall cascading down the mountains. Warm not only in feeling but in comfort.

The beauty of using a recessed shower head is the ability to make areas minimal and natural, without the impeding in the area. The beauty of water is the mission of Hansgrohe, allowing for ample flow without feeling restricted. We always employ Hansgrohe products in our designs because not only is the craftsmanship top notch, but the products have a simplicity; it marries the aesthetic quality needed for high end design without compromising he necessity of relaxation from the hustle and bustle of the world that clients crave in the desert.
