Dining Area

The oversized window panes surrounding this dining area create a special moment for your guests. You feel close to nature, yet cozy and warm in your home. The beautiful wood table and mid century modern inspired chairs by Calligaris meld perfectly with the bronze colored trim surrounding the window panes. The spherical orb pendant floating in area housing a set of candelabras gives the effect of motion through the use of concentric circles.

Main Living Area

The open concept living area creates ample space for lounging entertaining. The space is partitioned partially by a Mid Century Modern screen in a muted orange hue, which complements nicely with the dark brown porcelain wood planks. We created separation between the fireplace area and television lounge by centering two ceiling fans. The television is housed on a bump out that is highlighted in a bright orange hue to contrast with the muted color featured in the partition screen.

We created two cozy yet ample lounge spaces within this small footprint. The fireplace is highlighted with a vivid white from Dunn Edwards in a gloss finish to highlight the textural changes in the rock facade. The warm floors are cooled up by a suede textural rug in a calming blue to create two separate moments. However, this space is warm and comfortable throughout with the beiges and browns fabrics in the love seats .

The smaller footprint of the kitchen doesn’t impede on the space allowances for cooking and preparing a world class meal. The 8 foot long kitchen island has ample space for preparing or displaying your dishes, as well as sitting to eat your meals or enjoying a cocktail. The warm cherry wood cabinets provide a contrast to the coolness of the white quartz counter tops. A linear pendant highlights the island, with a rippled fabric surrounding the rectangular lampshade, diffusing light unobtrusively. Movement is created by the organically grained Carrara marble tiled backsplash behind the Viking appliance stove. We strive for simple and effortless design, and this kitchen definitely shows it.

Master bathroom

For the master bathroom, we strived to enlarge this space by doing smart design techniques. We implemented an oversized mirror to bounce light and give the illusion of space. We used contemporary lighting box encased in glass to not intrude with the vanity space. The warm cherry cabinets and wood porcelain plank floors are featured players in this design. However, keeping the counters clean and white, as well as utilizing a cool white paint on the walls allows for ample light to bounce in and brighten the area. Wall mounted Metris faucets from Hansgrohe provide a simple feature that avoids the cluttering of the vanity basin counter.
